LONGO, JOSEPH PETER-Advertising and Publicity Director. Born Boston, March 11, 1913. Son of Peter Longo and Therese Lavina. Gradu- ated from English High School in 1930 and from Boston University in 1934, B.A. Began in the advertising and publicity field at Loew's Theatre, later became road representative for United Artists working throughout New England and middle western states. Returned to work for Loew's Theatre in 1938 and has since been in their service. Mr. Longo ranks high among the leading motion picture press agents in the country. Married Charlotte Field of Boston, Dec. 2, 1935. Children: John, Joseph, Helene and Michele Grace. Fond of all sports especially track and was for two years, district champion of West End settlement house. Parents were born in Messina, Italy. Came to America in 1903 settling in Boston. (on scholarship), Harvard Law School in 1942, LL.B., is an attorney at law, now serving in U. S. Army overseas; and Vincent Joseph born March 19, 1922, graduate of Leominster High School with honors and Clark University in 1943, A.B.
