Radio School serving in U. S. Army, and Catherine. Mr. Lepore's father was born at Caserta, Naples, Italy. Came to America in 1888 settling in Boston, where he engaged in tailoring business for 50 years. His mother, a native of Prato, Avellino, Italy, also came to America in 1888. Parents of 10 children. LOCKETTI, ALBERT-Fruit Merchant, Brockton. £ Born Mezzanego, Genoa, Italy, Sept: 12, 1867. Son of Alberto Locketti (Lucchetti) and Caterina Bona. Came to America in 1885. Began in fruit business in Boston. In 1888 he moved to Brockton, where for fifty years was pro- prietor of the finest fruit and produce business in the city. On July 20, 1898 he married in Boston, Nina Gnecco, a native of Cicagna, Genoa, Italy, who had come to America in 1896 with her parents and settled in Boston. They had two children: Victor Ernest and Augustus Lawrence, who are now married and are partners of the Roma Cafe. Mr. Locketti has been a man of many activities has always taken deep interest in the welfare of his community, has encouraged and contributed to every worthy cause. He is among Italian pioneer settler of Brockton. Is charter member in the Eagles, the Owls, Liguria Society of Boston, and the Elks. Address: 138 Centre St., Brockton.

In business with his brother Victor since 1932. Formerly in the fruit busi- ness with his father. Married Mary Remiski of Brockton Oct. 10, 1932. One son, Albert Francis, born June 18, 1936. Member Order Sons of Italy. Active in civic and political affairs. Fond of traveling, baseball, football, fishing, hunting and music. (See his father's sketch.) Res .: 46 Prospect St., Brockton.


LOCKETTI, VICTOR ERNEST-President, Roma Cafe, 129 North Main St., Brockton. Born Brockton Nov. 3, 1899. Son of Albert Locketti and Nina Gnecco. Educated in the Brockton Public Schools. Partner with his brother Augustus in the Roma Cafe since 1932. Married Rose Muzurka of Exeter, N. H. June 24, 1925, a graduate Reg. nurse. They have one son- Lawrence Frank, born May 20, 1937. Mr. Locketti is member of Elks, Eagles, and Howard Social Club. Fond of baseball, football, and boxing. Active in civic and political affairs. Res .: 44 Prospect St., Brockton.


LOCKI, UMBERTO-Proprietor of Locki Tailoring Co., Southbridge. Born Manduria, Taranto, Italy, Dec. 29, 1885. Son of Francesco Tomaso Locki and Maria Adolorata Gennari. Educated in the public schools of his native town, where he also learned the art of custom tailoring. Came to America Aug. 11, 1911, settling in Southbridge, where he has since been in the tailoring business, being the pioneer tailor of Italian descent in the city. Married Raffaela Lamosca of Southbridge May 6, 1918. Children: Frank, a graduate of Southbridge High with honors and of Worcester Becker College, employed at Southington National Bank, is in U. S. Army; and Florenzo Anthany, also a graduate of high is associated with his father. Mr. Locki is member: Order Sons of Italy, where he held all offices in the lodge; Italian American Associates and K. of C. Has the following brothers and sisters: Giovanni, Agata, Elvira, and Erminia. Also a nephew-Deme- trio Meo of Brooklyn, N. Y. Res .: Southbridge, Mass.
