Music supervisor at Gilbert School of Winsted, Conn., for five years. Directed several theatrical orchestras, and taught solfeggio at N. E. Conservatory of Music. Children: Concettina Albina, married to Anthony Rosato; John, served nine years in U. S. Navy, is employed at U. S. Navy Yard at Charlestown; Ubaldo, a foreman at Ashland Co .; Edmond; Ralph J., a graduate of Worcester Trade School, is machinist; and Rita Pauline. Mr. Nugnes was one of the founders and ex-secretary of the Humbert Society; and former vice-president of St. Ann's Society. His father, a contractor in Italy. Married the late Fedela Mosca, May 23, 1918. Children: Joseph, born Jan. 13, 1920, is sergeant mail clerk in the U. S. Marines; and Michael, born March 5, 1931, is a student.
