In 1931 he opened his present restaurant in a small way, today it is among the largest and most modern in Brighton, owning his own property. Asso- ciated with him in business are his two brothers, Giovanni and Antonio. RUFO, BLANCHE (Mrs.)-Wife of Donato Rufo. Born in Worcester, Sept. 12, 1902. Daughter of Joseph Perruzzi and Maria Piselli. Gradu- ated from Worcester High in 1916 and attended Mass. School of Art, specializing in costume designing and dressmaking, in which profession she is still active. Mrs. Rufo is mother of six children; one of the founders of the Italian scholarship fund; promoted teaching of Italian in Brighton High School; has taught citizenship and the American way of life to foreigners; life member of the "I am an American Day"; member of the Farro Club; the Italian Women's Club; and Mass. Defense Corps. Active in civic, social and political affairs. Fond of travel, swimming, skating and grand opera. Her parents were born in San Donato, Frosi- none, Italy. Came to U.
